SLANGO
The Sierra Leone association of Non Governmental Organisations (SLANGO) is a consortium of NGO’s both indigenous and foreign, whose primary role to ensure cooperation among its members. SLANGO also serves as a unified voice of the NGO community Sierra Leone.
SLANGO forms the link between NGO’s government institutions and donor agencies and promotes the interest of its constituents.

Our Vision
SLANGO’s vision is to ensure that NGO intervention in the National Development process is effectively coordinated to avoid duplicity of efforts and achieve a sustainable impact on target beneficiaries.
Recognising the essential role NGOs play in National Development, SLANGO strives to improve on NGOs performances, transparency and accountability by strengthening their capacity to ensure effective implementation.

To become members an NGO should fill out an application form which can be obtained from the secretariat or accessed here
A subscription fee of, Eleven Thousand, Six Hundred And Fourty One Leone Only (Le 11,641), January 2024- 31 December 2025 for New International Non-Governmental Organisations.
A subscription fee of, Six Thousand, Six Hundred And Twenty Leone Only (Le 6,620) January 2024 – 31st December 2025 for New National Non-Governmental Organisations.
The subscription fee should be paid into the SLANGO Account at Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Lightfoot Boston Street Freetown. Account Number 003002211699112331.
